I have noticed that on some e-mails that I receive people have their address or phone number and etc at the end of their e-mails. Is there a way to have this information always show up at the end of my e-mails with always having to type it in each time? I'm using Microsoft Outlook and I have XP.
Yes, there is a way to have this information at the end of each e-mail. You can do it using a feature of your e-mail program called a signature. In Outlook: 1. Click on "Tools" and then "Options". 2. Click on the "Mail Format" tab and at the bottom of that page, click on the "Signatures" button. 3. Click on the "New..." button to create a new signature. Type a name for the signature (Something like "Basic" or "Work") and then click "Next". 4. In the next window, type the information you want to appear in each e-mail. Make sure your spelling is correct! When you are done, click "Finish". 5. Click "OK" to go back to the "Mail Format" page. At the bottom of the page, in the section that says, "Signature for New Messages" click on the name of your signature, and click "OK".
In Outlook Express: 1. Click on "Tools" and then "Options". 2. Click on the "Signatures" tab, then the "New" button to create your new signature. 3. Type the text for your signature in the bottom box, then go to the top of the window and put a check mark in front of "Add signatures to all outgoing messages". 4. Click "OK" and you will be done.
